NECON has long been the convening body for those passionate
about prevention-focused work in New England. In addition to our annual conference, we are working towards becoming a sustainable resource throughout the year.
How do we sustain the power of the NECON conference throughout the year? In part by creating an online center of excellence.
A new online Toolkit is being developed to provide tactical information on prevention legislation, funding and program creation in
New England—including gold star case studies, best practices, obstacles, and overall lessons.
The aim of the NECON toolkit is to strengthen prevention-focused programs in New England by promoting learning and
collaboration, as well as build relationships in order to pursue joint funding opportunities.
